Representatives of the firm SAL.INCO Improve SL from Frankfurt and the firm Matrix Strategic Solutions AG from Switzerland, a potential investor, presented by representatives of the executive and legislative authorities in Bugojno a project to build facilities for the production of electricity based on municipal solid waste.

The facilities would be using a new technology in waste management
which is successfully applied in some cities in Switzerland, Germany, Sweden
and Norway, where they met the highest environmental standards. The plant would
employ 25 workers. Eleven and a half years will be owned by the investors and
thereafter followed by the Municipality of Bugojno.

It is an investment that “weighs” more than 40 million
EUR and, given the problems that the municipalities of Bugojno has in recent
years in the deposit of waste, it is an initiative that would be supported by
most participants.
