By the end of 2017 on the network of the Republic of Serbian Electric Power Industry (EDF) will be 10 new hydropower plants and five solar plants. - Their participation in the generation of electricity will be increased by 2%, while the same growth is expected in 2018 - says the EDF and added that all significant share of renewable electricity in the system of incentives for renewable energy sources in the Republic of Serbian, but also their importance in meeting the end customers of electricity.

In this company point out that in 2016 the right to incentives, with 54 small power plants that together produced 106.89 gigawatt-hours of electricity and thus settle the 4% of end customers in the Republic of Serbian.

From ERS added that the right incentives to achieve 16 hydropower plants, 36 solar plants and two power plants on biogas.

The installation of small power plants has increased the number of existing energy sources, and their work has contributed to increasing the security of supply of consumers.
