Due to the completion of the project "Advice on energy efficiency in Bosnia and Herzegovina" in Trebinje ceremony was held to present the results of the project and award with the certificates municipalities and cities that have documented the established function of energy management.
Among them is the City Administration of Bihać, which has successfully completed energy efficiency projects and thus fulfill the demanding criteria for obtaining the certificate.
At the ceremony, certificates were given to energy managers and experts who have followed the entire three-year training program, and the certificates were received by Sabina Bišćević and Zlatan Čizmić, employees of the Service Utilities and inspection tasks in the City Administration of Bihać, said the Mayor’s Office of Bihać.
German organization GIZ has implemented a project in the past three years in BiH, which included nine municipalities of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the aim of implementation of energy management in the city administration coordination of their action plans for energy efficiency.
In implementing the action plans for energy efficiency nine municipalities and cities saved almost 13.5 million KM in public and residential buildings, the heating system and public lighting.
