Gross electricity in the Federation for ten months of 2016 amounted to 7,537 GWh, a decrease of approximately 3% compared to the same period last year when it produced 7,756 GWh, based on data from the Federal Statistical Office.
Extremely high production was recorded in October when it exceeded a million GWh (1,007 GWh precise) and was higher by about 39% compared to the same month in 2015, when it amounted to 723 GWh.
For ten months of this year the forefront in the production of thermal power plants, in which the total production of 4,908 GWh of electricity. The hydro power production was 2,848 GWh.
The more productive electricity power plants account for about 63%, and hydro power plants with about 37%.
