Energy renewal in the public sector

Croatia: There will be awarded grants totaling nearly 3 million HRK

Minister of Construction and Physical Planning Lovro Kuščević signed seven agreements on the grant.

Five of the contract relates to the preparation of project documentation for energy renovation of elementary school Lipik from Lipik, primary school Mato Lovrak from Kutina (Phase 1A) and primary school Mato Lovrak from Kutina (Phase 1B), kindergarten cicada from Virovitica and elementary schools S. Kefelje from Kutina, while the other two contracts relate to the work of renewal and energy to primary school Sirač from Sirača and elementary school William Korajac from the Capitol.

Based on these contracts will be awarded a grant of the European Regional Development Fund and the Fund for Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund in the amount of almost 3 million HRK (HRK 2,728,551.95). The contracts were signed on the basis of the Pilot Project MINGO‘s, for whose implementation is secured 60 million HRK from the European Regional Development Fund and the Fund for Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency.

MINGO has in the second month of this year started making the program of energy renovation of buildings of the public sector from 2016 to 2020, which has just been completed and will be submitted for government procedure and, under which the reconstruction of public buildings, involving the building of educational public institutions, there will be 211 million euros from the European regional development Fund, announced the MINGO‘s.
