Energy renovation of six schools in the TK IPA project

At the end of last week the Committee INTERREG IPA CBC Croatia - BiH - Montenegro 2014th to 2020th approved the project of cross-border cooperation of Tuzla and Brod-Posavina in Croatia. The total value of "Smart School" project is 3,234,000 KM, and he, among other things, provides for the heating and increasing the level of energy efficiency in six schools in Tuzla Canton.

On this occasion, today the Prime Minister’s Office TK was meeting the delegation of the Government of Tuzla Canton with representatives of the Centre for Development and Support, which are the carriers of the project, where it was pointed out that the total amount of Tuzla canton get 50 percent or about 1.6 million KM, and the obligation of the Government of TK is that during the current year provide initial funding of 234,000 KM.

“As the project is timed and its implementation planned during the next 27 months, but today we’ve applied some specific tasks, and I expect that the ministers will immediately start their implementation,” said Prime Minister of Tuzla Canton Bego Gutić.

The project, when it comes to telecommunications, provided the energy renovation of six school buildings and Mixed Secondary School in Kladanj, Primary School Ivan Goran Kovacic in Gradacac, Primary School Grivice, PF Omazići in Banovici, Primary School Second Primary School in Srebrenik, Primary School Upper Tuzla in Tuzla and Primary School Sapna in Sapna.

In addition to investing in the renovation and reconstruction of school facilities, the project includes training 40 energy managers, and competition 45 schools that will include about 5,000 students from 30 schools from Bosnia and Herzegovina and 15 from the Croatian, said the Department of Information of the Government of TK.
