Five new small hydropower plants on the river Rama – Agreement between the Government of HNC and company Ecco-Crima

New contract signed with the director of the company Ecco-Crime Davor Rajic to grant a concession for the construction of small hydro power plants on the river Rama.

Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management HNC Donko Jovic, on behalf of the Government of HNC, signed with the director of the company Ecco-Crime Davor Rajic contracts to grant a concession for the construction of small hydro power plants in the window-Rama.
According to Minister Jovic, there will be constructed five small hydro power plants with total installed capacity of 3.5 MW.

The total value of investments is 12,794,900 KM, which will in the initial implementation stage, guarantee opening up three jobs. The concessionaire is obliged to pay one-time concession fee in the amount of 127 949 KM – said Jovic.

According to him, the signing of the contract was preceded by a procedure conducted in accordance with applicable legislation, which has resulted in decisions taken to grant the concession to use the water of the river Rama and public water resources to produce electricity, as the decision of approval to the text of the proposed contract concession, issued by the Government of HNC.

Following activities depend on the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the local community, such as obtaining environmental, building and zoning permits.
