In the three cantons of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the next three months will be invested 5.48 million KM, which are also the largest investments in this area in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
By signing the contract with the contractors started the new investments within the biggest project of the World Bank in the field of energy efficiency in Bosnia and Herzegovina, (Bosnia Energy Efficiency – BEEP). In fact, it is the signing of the contract which begins implementation of energy efficiency measures to a total of 13 public buildings in the Zenica-Doboj Canton, Una-Sana Canton and Canton Sarajevo.
By signing the contract and with a total investment of 5.48 million KM will be covered 11 educational institutions and 2 health facilities.
– We are proud that we have completed the preparatory work and we can begin work on the implementation of energy efficiency. These are so far the largest investment in this area in Bosnia and Herzegovina. With the multiple benefits of energy efficiency, I would point out the estimated savings in energy costs, which amount to 35%, as well as the creation of complete comfort in the facilities in which they will implement energy efficiency measures – said Mustafa Čopelj, head of the World Bank project for the Federation.
Contractors are the companies ITC Zenica, Džekos Sarajevo and Tuzla Tehnograd.
