In the course is the increase of EE at the “Fatima Gunić” in Sarajevo

Mayor of Novi Grad Semir Efendic and the Minister of Physical Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of Sarajevo Canton Cedomir Lukic, visited the works in the elementary school "Fatima Gunić" in Alipašino Polje, where is in the course of realization project of warming the building.

It is a complete reconstruction of the building, which should be completed by the beginning of the school year, which includes the construction of new walls, thermal facade, complete rehabilitation of the exterior of the building with part of the rehabilitation of the central heating, and replacement of the carpentry.

New edition

– Now working on a brand new walls of aerated concrete, insulation and replacement of the complete external hardware, so that from the new school year, one of the largest schools in the Novi Grad area, with about 800 students, will be in a brand new edition, like the newly built school, said Mayor Efendic.

For the realization of the project of warming up the school around 250,000 marks were allocated by the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and Environmental KS with the help of of UNDP, while about 80,000 marks provided the Novi Grad municipality, together with the Federal Ministry of Physical Planning. As the minister Lukic said, this project primarily is of great importance for the children who attend this school and is one of seven projects that the Ministry is currently implementing.

Savings

– The works include, increasing energy efficiency, in terms of making new walls and thermal facade, complete rehabilitation of the exterior of the building with part of the rehabilitation of central heating, in order to produce real savings in the use of this property and much higher standards, terms of use for our youngest who use this school building, said the minister Lukic. According to Hajrudin Cuprija, director of school “Fatima Gunić”, implementation of the project will improve working conditions, and will achieve large energy savings.
