A delegation of Bosnian hydropower experts visited from 17 to 21 October in the German state of Bavaria to learn about the latest technological and business solutions, and gaining ideas for possible solutions in this area in Bosnia and Herzegovina, said the Representative Office of German Economy in BiH
The program started with an introductory presentation on hydropower in the Ministry of economy and media, energy and technology landscape of Bavaria under whose auspices of the study tour was organized.
The participants visited six hydroelectric power plants, including Walchensee, one of the largest in Germany, and discussed with operators and manufacturers
The district administration of Swabia (Schwaben) held a mini-fair, where participants from BiH contact with Bavarian companies and set the foundation for future business cooperation
The program was attended by representatives of companies engaged in the production and design of hydropower plants as well as representatives of public institutions and local governments interested in the application of modern technical solutions
The study tour was held in the program to encourage cooperation “Bayern – Fit for Partnership”, was organized by the Representation of the German Economy in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in cooperation with the Bavarian company TUM-Tech GmbH in Munich
