Delegation which was made by general manager of JP Elektroprivreda Elvedin Grabovica, prime minister of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nermin NikiÅ¡ić with ministers in government of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and members of management board of JP EPBiH, visited the site for future hydro power plant “Vrandukâ€.
Reason for visiting the location of hydro power plant “Vrandukâ€Â is the nearly start of construction of the first hydro power plant in the EPBiH system after the war period.
General manager JP EPBiH Elvedin Grabovica expressed his satisfaction with visit and said that this is the first significant project after war in BiH.
“This is the first significant capital building after the war and estimated investments are around 120 million KM. In 20 days we will know the companies who are interested for this projectâ€, said Grabovica.
He added that EPBiH did everything to protect old city of Vranduk and fortress Vranduk. They invested 150.000 KM for maintenance of national park Vranduk.
Prime Minister Nermin Nikišić expressed his satisfaction about EPBiH for conservation of national park and monuments in old city Vranduk.
“Elektroprivreda as the biggest company owned by Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the generator of further industrial progresses and I am very glad that EPBiH comply with its obligation for conservation of national parkâ€, said NikiÅ¡ić.
Director of City Museum Zenica Adnadin JaÅ¡arević, on behalf of Director of the Institute for Protection of Cultural Monuments Lidija MiÄić, recived plan for management and maintenance of national park Vranduk.
“This management plan implies that EP will take care about needs of fortress Vranduk such as repair and construction works. What times are coming in terms of investment in culture in BiH, I consider this gesture of
EP laudableâ€, said Adnadin.
The value of project “Vranduk†is 127 million KM and it is planned as flow plant derivation type, installed capacity 19.63 MW and average annual production 99.38 GWh.
