The reconstruction of public lighting in the municipality of Foca, which includes the complete replacement of old mercury lamps with economical LED bulbs, will save about 60% of electricity.

This have said in the Foča municipality, adding that in the reconstruction of public lighting was invested 500,000 KM. They explained that from the entry into the city to the suburbs were placed 1,000 new lamps. In addition to saving and aesthetic advantages, modern LED lighting, gives more light.

From the municipal budget has so far been annually for maintaining the lighting allocated 150,000 KM, and savings greater than 50% will be paid to the contractor, in the next five years.

– Led bulbs, except economical benefit, provide better lighting and run for 15 years, so there is no investment in their maintenance, so the investment pays off for a short time – said the Mayor of Foča Radisav Masic.
