The Government of the Republic of Serbian adopted at yesterday's session borrowing of 60 million euros to build a wind farm in Hrgud Berkovići, confirmed the Capital in the Ministry of Finance.
German Bank for Reconstruction, Frankfurt am Main (KfW), the RS government will grant a loan of 60 million euros with a maturity of 15 years and a grace period of up to four years. Fixed interest rate will be determined after the payment of loans, and shall be at least one percent per year, plus a margin of KfW.
The end user and the borrower of this loan is Elektroprivreda RS. The concession for the construction of wind farms Hrgud awarded to Elektroprivreda RS 9 October 2015, at 50 years, and negotiations with KfW representatives were held on 12 May this year in Sarajevo, when they defined the conditions of this debt.
The concession agreement signed on September 28, Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining Petar Djokic and former head of the Elektroprivreda RS Branislav Milekić. On that occasion Djokic announced this project in the next few years.
It is anticipated that the wind farm Hrgud power is 48 MW, while the annual production amounted to 126 GWh. Berkovići were four years ago adopted a local spatial plan for the wind farm Hrgud, which will be built on five square kilometers and 1,000 meters above sea level in the village Hrgud.
Elektroprivreda RS earlier instructions to make this investment could pay off in 10-20 years.
