Activ Solar, a company in Vienna, Austria has announced that the last phase of the Ohotnikovo Solar photovoltaic power plant in Ukraine is completed.

It is the largest solar power plant built to date in Central and Eastern Europe, and has a total power output of 80 MW. The solar power plant extends to over 160 acres and has about 360,000 solar modules. The project was divided into four phases of 20 MW each, where the first three stages were built during the beginning of this year and the last stage has just been completed.

Solar power plant Ohotnikovo will annually produce 100,000 MWh of electricity and will cover the electricity needs for 20,000 households.
