The Future of Construction – In Bosnia and Herzegovina will soon start production of insulation from sheep wool

Sarajevo-based company Wool Line of September will begin production of sheep wool insulation in the new production facility in Hadzici, said in an interview for Fena director of Wool Line Sarajevo Bahrudin Bojčić.

It will, he says, contribute to the solution of environmental problems and financial exploitation of wool as a valuable and cost-effective resources.

– Insulation from sheep wool is the future of the construction, which was proved already in Switzerland and Austria. Sheep wool is suitable for thermal insulation of attics, lofts, walls and floors – said Bojcic.

Wool in BiH has diverse quality and no finesse fiber for sweaters or similar products. Therefore, it is considered ideal for insulation because it does not need to have a softness, but it is important that the wool 100% properly treated and processed.

– In the next season of cutting, we will need for the entire source of raw sheep wool in the territory of BiH, and it ranges from about 1,500 to 2,000 tons of unwashed wool. The plan is that from April to August 2017, we purchase the entire quantity of raw materials from the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina – highlights Bojčić.

The line for the production of insulation from sheep wool length is 25 meters, and is enough to work on it two people. However, in order to reduce errors and achieve a higher quality product in the new plant of the company Wool Line will employ six people.

The production of insulation from sheep wool from BiH will export natural insulating materials, which is better than Styrofoam and glass wool.

– On average there are about 20% better characteristics than other insulation materials, and for about 30% provides better sound insulation. Lifetime insulation from sheep wool is 50, and the square will not be below 15 hp. The investment in thermal insulation costly initial investment during construction, but will this investment pay off because it will come back in the form of savings on heating – adds Bojčić.

The insulation properties of sheep wool are the same as for mineral wool, but in the construction of the house, which is designed for mineral wool, can be installed in place of the mineral without any need to create a compromise in terms of thermal properties.

– Wool inherently flame retardant should be poured gasoline that would burn. Natural vatroodbojnost makes it very suitable for thermal insulation – said Bojcic.

So far, wool products, such as pillows, quilts, mattresses, nadmadraci most exported to Scandinavian countries, the Netherlands and Switzerland.

It admits, not ‘megalomaniac exports “bearing in mind that it is important that clients are satisfied and want to re-order products.

– The best confirmation business growth Wool Line and from year to year – said in an interview for Fena director of Wool Line Sarajevo Bahrudin Bojcic, transmitted factor.
