Workers Mine and Thermal Power / RITE / Ugljevik announced yesterday the fight against judicial proceedings which are damaging the company for more than 7.7 million.

At a press conference in Ugljevik member of the company management Slobodan Sofić said that the letter of disgruntled workers with 1,000 of their signatures be submitted to the District Commercial Court in Bijeljina and all the higher judicial instances, and comments on the work of the courts will be forwarded to the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH .

The letter states that the court decisions in the proceedings initiated by the private company “Tereks engineering”, “Sico Company” and “Continental”, Ugljevik damaged for more than 7.7 million.

Sofić said that the workers will ask the Prime Minister Zeljka Cvijanovic that the Government of the Republic of Serbian in the function of the Assembly of shareholders formed an expert team of lawyers outside the “Elektroprivreda” that would determine the specific liability for damage caused Ugljevik of almost eight million.

He announced and maintenance protest disgruntled workers in front of the High Commercial Court of Banja Luka and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Serbian, when they receive approval for its maintenance.

According Sofić, discontent of the workers at the protest will show 150 employee representatives in Ugljevik. A member of the company management Branislav Djokic said at a press conference that the court proceedings began in 2003 and that in recent years courts issuing different rulings. According to him, in the lawsuit the company “Sico Company” during the consideration of the appeal by the TPP invested Constitutional Court, in the “Tereks engineering” during the consideration of the audit before the Supreme Court of the Republic of Serbian, as well as suits “continental” .

“Attitudes Ugljevik and legal team is that the cases claims entirely unfounded since none of these companies has not entered into an agreement with the company, nor the TPP ever made a decision on the selection of listed companies,” said Djokic.
