At several locations in BiH began construction of wind power plants and some of them are already finished and put into operation. One of this wind power plants is located near town Visoko.

BiH is one of the countries of Southeast Europe which seeks to implement European Energy Directive which by 2020 predicts reducing emissions by 20% and 20% share of renewable energy in total production of electrical energy.

It is possible to realize this directive by building wind power plants and one of the companies that works in this industry is Suša commerce from Visoko.

“In the area near Visoko one wind power plant was built. Currently we do not have plans to build new wind power plants, although current plants are built in that way that they can take more wind power plants” said for the interview with Klix.ba Osman Suša, director of the company.

He pointed out that wind power plant in Visoko is stand-alone unit which does not require constant presence of staff.

“Planned annual production of electrical energy is 1080 MWh. All electrical energy produced is being distributed in the electrical network” says Suša.
