As part of the largest energy efficiency project in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BEEP) ceremonial ribbon cutting open the renovated elementary school "Zahid Baručija" in Vogosca.
The implementation of energy efficiency measures at this involved the insulation of the facade, replacement of windows, reconstruction of flat roof with the installation of thermal insulation, replacement openings, sensor integration of daylight and cleaning of heaters in the gym.
Following intensive work in the past three months, implemented energy efficiency measures at this enabled better living conditions and work to all students and employees. The value of these energy-efficient investment amounts to more than 250,000 KM.
BEEP Project for the Federation of BiH, Mustafa Čopelj is this occasion that implemented energy efficiency measures in this school offer more comfortable environment for teaching and saving energy. “The facility we already have a better and more comfortable environment for work and residence, and in the coming months are expected and significant financial savings on energy bills.” – Said Čopelj.
BEEP project is being implemented with the help of World Bank loans, under which the planned renovation of 50 public buildings in the Federation.
